“Don’t speak negatively about yourself, even as a joke!! Your your body doesn’t know the difference. Words are energy and cast spells, that’s why it’s called spelling. Change the way you speak about yourself and you can change your life. What you’re not changing, you’re also choosing.”
Don’t speak negatively about yourself, even as a joke!! Your spirit and your body don’t know the difference!!
Speak wonderful things to your spirit because you’re a wonderful part of the universe and very cherished!!
Like many people, I was accustomed to speaking negatively to myself, and speaking negatively about myself.
It took a huge toll on my ability to feel positive not only about myself, but about my life in general.
Once I started practicing speaking gently to myself, suspending judgement, to find positive affirmations which I genuinely connected with, I started to feel better. My anxiety and depression started to become reduced in intensity and frequency.
Over time those negatives which I had lived with for most of my life reduced enough to be able to successfully talk myself through them when they did occasionally resurface.
Please try these techniques for yourself. I’m sure you will enjoy the positive benefits yourself.
More help:
- It’s never too late to teach ourselves!
- Stop hating yourself for everything you aren’t. Start loving yourself for everything you are.
- Creating Mindful Distance of Thoughts… what’s that?
- The power of words
- Resilience is knowing that YOU are the only one that has the power and the responsibility to pick yourself up
- I do not allow others to influence my thinking unless it is positive or uplifting.
- Every thought we think is creating our future
- Allowing 2 truths to coexist isn’t nuts!
- Forget what hurt you, but never forget what it taught you.
- You’re not selfish for wanting the same energy and love you give.
- You must learn a new way to think before you can master a new way to be.
- Do small things with great love.
- Build someone up. Remind them they’re worthy.
- Never wish them pain. Wish them healing. That’s what they need.
- When we seek to discover the best in others, we somehow bring out the best in ourselves.
- Bless everyone you meet today!
- Be an encourager. Telling people they have wonderful wings won’t take away your ability to fly.
- Your work is not to drag the world kicking and screaming into a new awareness!
- You become what you surround yourself with. Energies are contagious. Choose carefully. Your environment will become you.

Absolutely! I’ve found that as I practiced being kinder and suspending judgment with myself that my inner thoughts were able to extend this to others as well! I found this gave me far more inner peace than I had felt before!
