When I went through the most anxious and depressed times in my life, I felt trapped.
I felt I could do nothing to change my situation, because I felt I had tried everything.
I was wrong.
I just didn’t know all the possibilities. I just didn’t know all the possible solutions.
Out of nowhere, it seemed at the time, solutions appeared from the unlikeliest sources.
They seemed unlikely because my mind wasn’t able to envision that particular solution to that particular problem.
Once the solution appeared, all I needed to do was to take that proverbial step forward to receive it.
Sometimes the solution manifested in a way which seemed traumatic at the time, because in those days I had resigned myself to living a negative reality which was all that seemed possible for me at that time.
When the “traumatic” solution appeared or seemed to force itself into my life, I struggled to see it as a solution, it just seemed to be another problem to deal with, along with a long string of problems.
Little did I know in those moments that the seemingly dark clouds held a silver lining which would change my life forever.
Now that I’ve passed through a few such events in my life, I see there is a much bigger plan manifesting in each of our lives.
We’re so interconnected and we don’t realize it.
One person’s seemingly innocuous actions on the other side of the world can end up having a domino effect which would change the lives of many.
If you’re looking for a change, as many of us are, we need to do all that we can right now to prepare for that future reality we’re looking for.
There are little things we can do to ready our lives, so that when the gears of the universe start to create new movement and opportunities, we will be ready to go with that flow, and not feel unready.
The best we can do for ourselves is to practice being mindfully peaceful in the present moment, to soothe our fears and anxieties.
I have learned that each of us is deeply loved by God and our Angels and is seeking to work everything out on our behalf.
This has helped me to let my anxieties go and to trust.
Yes, I pray for what I want and feel I need, but I don’t pray in detail like I had been taught to before, for that was limiting my prayers to only what I could imagine being the best thing for me.
That method actually limited my ability to see other possibilities for myself, because I was so focused on praying for specific things! I was fearful that if I didn’t pray specifically for what I wanted, that I wouldn’t be provided for.
That method actually accentuated my anxieties and depression instead of relieving it!
Alternatively, when we come to know that we are loved and cherished (and each of us is), we can become fully open. Open to seeing new things, to learning and experiencing new things.
Through this openness we are actually able to see more possibilities, and to feeling ready to try something new!
I am working on making myself ready for my next new phase in life by doing the tasks which the universe speaks to my heart. Some manifestors might say it is knocking on the doors I need to! I call this preparedness!
