When we tune into seeing, feeling, and responding to the positives, we are more likely to be able to send that outwards, to our spouses, our friends, our family, our colleagues, and people in our communities!

This helps to create a positive cycle, where we want to repeat the behavior and thought patterns because we feel better and better!
Interestingly, this is a positive cycle we ourselves can set into motion!
Even after a setback or negative experience, we can create a “reset” button in our minds, which we can return to, over and over again! This gives us back the control so many of us crave to have in our lives!
Imagine having the capability to create a “re-set” button in our minds, which we can use over and over, after each time we experience a set-back or negative event!
I discovered we actually do have this capability, though in many of us it lays completely dormant!
This capability lay dormant in me for most of my life, because I didn’t know I could do this!
I’d heard of the “think positive” adage, but because of my own deeply imbedded ability to absolutely shred myself to pieces over something small, I wasn’t successful at putting it into practice for more than fleeting moments in my life.
When I started doing the inner work to heal my inner self and to teach myself to speak positively to myself, I started experiencing a lift of my spirits and indeed even the long-held negative views of my capabilities to create a happy, positive life for myself.
I wish I could say it was a magical, instant transformation, but that wasn’t my experience. My transformation was gutted out piece by piece, because I still DIDN’T KNOW that the process I was putting myself through COULD or WOULD work, much less be able to return to it easily after I had gone through a bout of shredding myself!
Keep an eye out for tomorrow’s post: “By changing our inner dialogue, we change EVERYTHING!”
Doing this inner work to is key to being able to develop a positive outlook and to be able to develop a “re-set” button!
