No matter how hard the past is, you can always begin again.

Wordsofsuccess

“No matter how hard the past is, you can always begin again.”

Every day is a brand new day, where opportunities to change appear in each hour.

We have many moments in a day, even in an hour to choose to take a different approach, to choose a different thought or action.

Change doesn’t always appear to us wearing a glorious outfit and carrying a sign announcing, “I am the big moment you’ve been waiting for”!

Change usually occurs by taking a deep breath, choosing not to do the same old things or to think the same old thoughts.

The biggest changes usually start in the tiniest of moments. A moment when we choose to think a positive thought about ourselves or someone else. A moment when we choose to start doing something we’ve been postponing.

I have started over a few times in my life. It was emotionally difficult to go through, but I’ve learned that it is possible to start over and become stronger than before!

Each time we pick ourselves up and dust ourselves off, we learn, we grow, we change.

Life isn’t trying to grind us down or to punish us. That’s not what’s happening.

Life is about the upward spiral: no matter how many times we complete the circle and seem to return back to where we started, we’re incrementally higher given we have more experience this time.

We are each an integral part of this universe, loved, cherished and important, so the universe conspires to help us on our journey. Even during the dark times.

The dark times are the hardest because in our anxiety and depression we fear that we’ve been forgotten by God and our Angels. we fear they no longer value us to help us.

That’s just not true!

I don’t pretend to know the reasons why any person goes through their dark time.

I do know that having gone through many of my own, that I hadn’t been forgotten or forsaken. Things were being worked out on my behalf that would help me get to my next step.

The dark times I went through have informed my choice to start writing my books and my blog. Had I not gone through my own hard times I wouldn’t have learned the deep soul lessons I did.

What will come from your dark times? Who will benefit from what you’ve learned?

Sometimes when we try to make something happen in our lives, and no matter how hard we try it seems like the doors just don’t open. So we get down on ourselves, and feel it is a dark time because our efforts haven’t received the answer we want. It’s easy to feel rejected or abandoned during these times.

What if the door isn’t opening, not because our purpose isn’t a valid one, but because more time is needed?

What if we needed more time to work on something we wouldn’t other wise get to do?

What if more time were needed to allow a series of events to happen to allow us to move into a much better opportunity?

There’s so much more going on than what’s going on in our own lives!

Look at the incredible complexity of how everything fits together; it is awe inspiring when we look back at past events to notice the tiny details of how everything dove-tails!

If it’s happened time and again in the past, why wouldn’t it continue to be so now and in the future? It will be, because that’s how our wonderful universe works things out!

So, if it appears that the universe has forgotten you or your life is stalled in neutral, perhaps looking at the bigger picture will help, to know that there’s more people’s lives which need to click into place, more events which need to happen in order for our own events to have their turn!

Change is possible for each of us and will happen when we do what we need to in order to set it in motion!

Blessings to you if you are thinking of starting something new in your life!
