I think being open is a number one key element to welcoming change in our lives!
Change doesn’t always come wearing the clothes we may expect, so being open to new things is a big step!
I’ve found that saying affirmations helps me not only to send a message out to the universe, but to be able to gauge my true readiness by tuning into how my body feels when I say it!
Am I feeling relaxed or did a pit start to form in my stomach?
If I feel uncomfortable with an affirmation, I know I need to look gently into why I’m not feeling good with it.
It’s usually because old feelings of self-doubt have crept in so I know to work gently with myself, reassuring myself and reminding myself that the universe loves me and has my back!
Then I take a few deep breaths, slowly breathing out!
I check to see that I’m physically comfortable, even making myself a cup of hot relaxing tea!
