Peace starts within each of us.
We learn to quiet the anxiety. We learn peace by choosing our words and thoughts. We teach ourselves to see life in a more positive way by deliberately choosing positive thoughts!
We practice peace by not automatically assuming the worst in another person! Texts and emails are easy to misconstrue and then see negative meanings, simply by the tone of voice which is used when reading them!
So many of our petty fights are because a small issue has need overly complicated and dramatized by misunderstandings. Those misunderstandings happen because of automatically assuming the worst meaning, instead of trying to stay more neutral and compassionate!
Choosing to listen, choosing to be compassionate are key skills, that when practiced, will help improve the quality of our reactions and relationships with others around!
