Throw out the resolutions!

Throw the resolutions out the window!

Just start by speaking kinder and gentler to yourself!
Throw out the harsh and judgmental self-talk.
What comes out of the mouth comes out of the heart.
It’s amazing what we can accomplish with ourselves when we start being nicer to ourselves!

Sending good wishes, hugs, prayers and good energy to you, your readers and you families! May this year bring bountiful blessings to each of us, and may our hearts grow peaceful!

  1. Happy New Year Tamara!

My new resolution is a bit more vague this year making a promise to myself to be better focused – by sticking to 1-2 goals at once, trying not to follow all (often conflicting) advice and stop putting aside my priorities for the priorities of others.

    1. Oh, that is very good self advice indeed! Placing yourself higher on your priorities is good.

I’m sure you can do this! Even if you fall off the horse, you can get back on!

Happy New Year to you too James!

Yes, it starts from within our own heads, to mindfully change those old tapes and to replace them with more positive words.

  2. I want to make more connections in 2023 but often I don’t keep my resolutions, so yes “being kinder to ourselves” resonates with me. I’m trying I say and the response I get frequently is “yes very!” 🙂

    Best wishes for 2023 Tamara.

    1. Keep going Margaret! We get better with practice! You’re on the path. Keep trying for it takes a while to build up enough new neutral pathways to make it feel like it’s the natural path to be walking on!
