“Accept what is, let go of what was, and have faith in what will be!”
As you already know, our minds function better without a lot of additional stress.
When we have a difficult time with any of the above, we add extra burdens on our minds, spirits and emotions, which then will echo into our bodies as physical ailments and pains.
Too often we’re told to work on these in order to have happiness, then find that it eludes us. Why would that be?
We don’t realize that working on any of these three steps takes time and work.
It takes looking inwards, facing our shadows and teaching ourselves to heal from them.
This all takes MUCH more time and effort than the happiness seekers are prepared to put in.
Interestingly, the people who put in the time and effort to develop in these three areas find that they become happy as a result!
