Laugh!! It’s really good for you!

Go ahead…laugh!!

Laughing feels great and is better for us than we could have imagined!!

Don’t feel like laughing? I understand. I’ve gone through periods in my life when problems were so tough that I didn’t feel happy about or had much inclination to laugh.

Yet, when we laugh, we help our immune system which helps us feel more positive and helps us to better handle our problems.

What can we do if we’re facing a brick wall of a problem and don’t see the way over or around it?

Do take extra care to look after yourself physically: get extra sleep, nourish yourself with good nutritious foods, get some fresh air and gentle exercise. These things might not seem significant but can make a huge difference in our ability to see possible solutions and to feel hopeful about being able to make it work out.

I’d suggest Googling “happiness vitamins” and “nutrients to lift your spirits” and “anti-depression supplements”, because when we’re stressed our bodies use more of these nutrients, so we can get depleted.

If you have any health issues you might want to do more research and/or get medical advice to make sure that nothing will interfere with medications you might be taking, or create a situation that could put your health in jeopardy. For example, some supplements can affect your blood pressure levels!

When our bodies get depleted we can feel more stressed, anxious and even depressed. Take time to take care of yourself physically, then focus on taking care of yourself emotionally and mentally!

When I was going through some dark times I didn’t feel up to laughing because mentally and emotionally I was too overwhelmed.

I found that inspirational quotes helped me to find hope and feel it was possible. Seeking out inspiration is crucial to changing a negative outlook.

When we change our outlook, we help ourselves to overcome our problems.

So, watch a funny movie, read a joke book, be open to laughing at unexpected things!

Laugh and you’ll feel better!! Feel better and life feels better.

Remember: you’re a cherished and precious part of the universe! You have a part to play!
