“It’s never crowded along the extra mile.” – Wayne Dyer
Doing more than what’s expected, doing a great job even when no one is watching, giving it your 100%… these are all things which create great Karma for ourselves and which help others to fulfill theirs.
There’s too many people who will cut corners, not do a great job or slack off if they feel no one is watching them.
Unfortunately many of us have experienced the negative fallout from other’s actions, even having to live with those consequences for the rest of their lives.
Who are you?
Do you try to get away with as much as possible?
Do you try to go the extra mile because your inner self guides you to do so?
For sure, going the extra mile is much harder to do.
It’s tempting to cut corners to save time or money. It’s tempting to turn a blind eye.
It’s tempting to ignore what we know is the right thing to do.
When I ignore doing what I know is the right thing, I deeply regret it. I feel terrible. My guilt is strong and I struggle to feel okay again.
Knowing how I felt when I didn’t give it my all, I made a personal vow to always strive to go that extra mile, to give it my best, even when no one was watching me.
That’s a personal code of honor I’m working on each day of my life, for it takes a conscious mind to put intentions into practice.
More goodness:
- Love is NOT all you need!
- Love is not what you say. Love is what you do.
- Setting “Boundaries with consequences”
- Is Love Enough to Help Someone Kick a Drug Habit?
- “What kind of love do I allow in my life?”
- The power of love is the strongest force in the universe.
- The more you extend kindness to yourself, the more it will become your automatic response to others.
- The Universe believes in you. Trust you are being guided.
- Miracles of healing: how this manifests
- If you do not change direction, you may end up where you are heading!
- Faith and fear both demand you believe in something you cannot see. You choose!
- Never Stop believing in hope. Miracles happen everyday.
- If you knew who walked beside you at all times on the path you have chosen, you could never experience fear of doubt again.
- Being spiritually awakened goes hand in hand with being deeply involved in ‘ordinary’ life, not withdrawn from it.
- BE PATIENT when it seems thing are not going right
- Gratitude attracts more reasons to be grateful!
- A mind at peace, a mind centered and not focused on harming others, is stronger than any physical force in the universe.
- When we create harmony in our minds and hearts, we will find it in our lives. The inner creates the outer. Always.
