“When we create harmony in our minds and hearts, we will find it in our lives. The inner creates the outer. Always.” – Louise L. Hay
Based on personal experience, I totally agree with Louise! Until I worked on my inner healing, I wished to experience harmony in my life on a consistent basis.
Having worked on this healing, I’ll be honest and transparent with you that harmony isn’t a 100% constant in my life, because, well, life happens! I still have mishaps, ups and downs. People in my life can behave erratically at times because they’re going through their own inner struggles.
Not having harmony 100% of the time isn’t a sign of failure, it’s the way life goes, but HOW we respond to it, how we treat others, how we treat ourselves, how we help ourselves to get back to a balanced state… that’s where the lessons of the healing come in!
As we heal, we learn skills to help ourselves through all the struggles, we help ourselves to recognize situations which may not be the healthiest for us and we learn how to choose what is better for us.
Harmony is a process, it isn’t a destination that once we attain it, we remain there forever! It takes mindfulness to bring it into our lives, and mindfulness to keep bringing it back when waves crash upon us!
We get better at mindfulness with practice! We keep getting back up, we dust ourselves off, and we keep focusing on our goals!
With time mindfulness gets easier, but there’s still major life storms which can blow into our lives and wreak havoc for a time. With mindfulness we can focus on what we’re able to do for the moment, and then gain strength to tackle more.
We all have this inner ability, even if it doesn’t feel that way right now! Baby steps! Just take baby steps until you’re stronger to take bigger steps! It’s okay!

I don’t think 100% harmony is possible all the time anyway. I believe that sometimes we have to get out of synch in order to grow. Nice post. Wrote the quote in my planner for today. Thanks!

😄 I agree with you that harmony 100% of the time is unrealistic! I think that once we know how to achieve it, we can mindfully direct ourselves back to it! After all, life happens and it’s all a learning curve! 🌼🌸🌼
I’m so happy you wrote it out! I believe in writing meaningful quotes too, it helps me to remember and to assimilate the lessons!
Have a beautiful day! ❤️❤️❤️
