“Your words are an extension of your thoughts. Change your words and you’ll change your life.” – Louise Hay
The words we say to ourselves are just as important as the words we say to others.
People know what kind of a person we are by what and how we speak to them.
Likewise, our spirit understands who we are by how we speak to ourselves!
When we speak unkindly and harshly to ourselves, we create anxiety, sadness, depression, gloominess, and pessimism within ourselves.
Words do matter, a lot!
By changing our words to ourselves, we change everything!
Start by speaking kindly to yourself!

It made so much difference for me! When I became aware that I could possibly speak kindly to myself it was like a light bulb lit up in my head!
Harder was putting it I to action! At first it felt stilted and unnatural. Took a lot of practice and perseverance to learn to do it so I felt comfortable!
I’m not sure if others have learned this lesson easily, but for me it was very difficult! The difference it made in my entire thought process and with my mental health was so radical that now I feel compelled to share this “secret” with others!

Absolutely agree with everything you say. First obstacle is to recognize I am being unkind with some words to myself 🙂

Yes! Second is to make a decision to change it! 😁
