How often do we see the worst in others instead of the best?
I know I have. Not proud of it. I’ve chosen at times to focus on the negative in someone instead of looking at the positive.
I’m sure you have too. Pretty sure we all have, for we’re human.
Yet, if we want to grow into our higher selves, we need to start looking for the positives in ourselves and in others.
When we speak kind words to ourselves and to others, we reduce anxiety, negativity, while increasing peace and harmony. We develop the ability to see what is good in others more easily when we also see it in ourselves, and that starts with how we speak to others and to ourselves.
These are conscious choices we can make, and right now this seems like an idea whose time has come.
