My last 2 post have had strong environmental messaging, something which has been on my mind a lot recently, so I wanted to be able to connect my friends and readers with an organization that is doing work on a grass-roots level.
Bioneers is one of those organizations quietly working behind, under and over the radar, to teach and connect people with information about helping our planet!
Bioneers holds an annual conference in California where they gather together leaders, visionaries, teachers, movers & shakers, students and anyone interested in learning about new ways to help our planet, each other, building community with one another and supporting communities who are working to make a difference.
Years ago I worked for the co-Founder and I was so impressed with the work she and her husband were doing, the people they were helping get connected, and the work these groups and communities have been quietly doing for the past few years!
If you’re looking for more information, wish to connect with people of like mind, please check out this virtual series!

Sounds good, Tamara. People who believe they are good but do nothing to preserve the life on earth might want to ask themselves whether their inaction justifies their belief. To modify an old quotation, the only thing necessary for our environment to collapse, is for good people to do nothing.

I agree with you Dr. Stein, and too often the good people feel helpless that there isn’t anything meaningful to do.
Even things like encouraging a city or town to plant trees in empty lots, plant bee and polinator friendly plants instead of grass. These are little things, but they do add up!
