“For everything I am not there is something that I am.”
It can be easy to overlook or even to forget all the good things about ourselves or the things we are capable of doing, while we berate ourselves for all the things we feel we are not.
I have found that when I speak positive affirmations and congratulate myself when I do something well, it has helped me during the times I felt low and has helped me to refocus my mind back to seeing the positive.

Wouldn’t it be good if we could remember all the good things about ourselves and all the things we are capable of when we feel down?
Keep telling yourself all the ways you are skilled, capable, and a wonderful person! Keep reminding yourself, so when you feel low you can help yourself to feel better.
Remember you are loved and cherished by the Universe!

This is such a wonderful reminder! I recognize how much I lived with this pattern in the past – of feeling so much lack in myself. I love your quote, it is deceptively simple, a very important reminder we can repeat to ourselves each time we feel limited.

I love it too for exactly the same reason! Part of my recovery is to remind myself of what I’m capable of so I don’t feel so hopeless! I don’t want to go back to feeling like that!
