Even if you haven’t yet discovered your special talent or your purpose, you still have one!

How can we discover what it might be if we have absolutely no clue what it could be?

Follow your Joy!

If we really enjoy doing something this can lead us to discover a special talent, though it might come as a surprise what it is!

For example, loving Art may not mean that you have a great talent to be an artist, but you may have a gift to promote artists.

Our gifts and strengths can be innate inside of us, but it still takes effort and dedication to develop them.

When you follow your Joy and do what brings you satisfaction, you’re already stepping on your pathway to your purpose.

Keep doing what you love and keep developing your skills!

Not everyone is destined to make a great deal of money from doing what they love, but that doesn’t equal failure if you don’t!

Do you measure success in dollars earned or in satisfaction gained from doing something?

  1. I wish I could survive financially by doing what I love. Tried that, but it’s not really working. I’m not sure where to go from here, but if I’m not getting any Young Living customers and my children’s book isn’t selling as I’d hoped, then I will have to face the music. Not sure how that will work with special needs kids who need me, but there it is.

    1. I understand and totally feel your pain! I had tried to create a few streams of income for myself, as is preached by investment gurus, so I uploaded art to Fine Art America to sell reproductions. Very few sales from that. I wrote books and created a blog and a website to sell my books, but only make a few sales a month, nothing to live on! I haven’t been able to create the income streams I wanted to, but I keep going because that’s what I’ve got to give the world at this time!

I have no idea what God’s plan is for me, but I see that I’m able to offer support to people at work who need it. If I had been making tons of money off my ventures, I wouldn’t be here in my job to lend support to people in real-time. I will keep going with my blogging, even though it doesn’t bring in money, for I feel I am making a small difference for a few people.

I can’t give you any definitive directions you need to follow, all I can say is to keep following your joy and do what your gut tells you to do! There may be additional things the universe requires or wants you to do which will add to the totality of what you’re doing! Keep following the whispers God is giving, for all of it together is helping!

      Blessings!
