Flawed & (still) worthy.
We seek perfection, and get very stressed out that we aren’t.
Yet, clearly, none of us are perfect, nor shall we be, no matter how hard we try to get it.
So then, why almost drive ourselves crazy trying to be perfect, to do everything perfectly?
What is actually behind the drive for perfection?
We fear we aren’t enough. We fear we aren’t worthy. We fear we will be looked down on, seen as inferior, if we show our flaws or imperfections.
Part of this is thanks to the fake images projected on social media by people who seek to get fame and followers by showing a magical, perfect life, yet, those images are carefully crafted to show a ‘reality’ which only exists in the imagination.
Unfortunately, this fake lifestyle has worked it’s spell over many, so they feel unworthy in their own lives, which aren’t a match.
We don’t need to try to live according to those unrealistic images, which end up creating stress for many in their daily lives.
We can embrace ourselves, our flawed beautiful selves!
When we embrace our flaws, we empower ourselves to live our lives on our own terms, and not by someone else’s!
When we embrace our flaws we free ourselves from unnecessary stresses, which really don’t belong to us!
We ARE worthy! We are loved and cherished by the universe which has our back!
We aren’t considered worthy because we’re perfect, but in spite of not being so!
