
I’ve been hearing different tributes on the radio for Katherine Johnson, yet this image clearly defines what she did for the NASA space program.

She died on Feb. 24, 2020. NASA Administrator James Bridenstine said,
“Our NASA family is sad to learn the news that Katherine Johnson passed away this morning at 101 years old. She was an American hero and her pioneering legacy will never be forgotten.”

The sadness of her story is that she was an African american and therefore got credit for work way too late in her life.
