What are you doing this weekend? Busy? Very busy?
We get so busy managing our to-do lists that taking care of ourselves can get lost in the shuffle of jobs. Another weekend can go by without even taking 1/2 hour for ourselves!
Years ago I heard someone say to make appointments to have personal time!
Unless we prioritize doing things to take care of ourselves, our time slips through our fingers, and before we know it we’re only thinking wistfully about doing the things we want to do.
This weekend, do something for yourself!
I’ve had very memorable Sunday mornings, where I picked up a coffee and breakfast to go, have gone to the park early, and walked around for a while before sitting down to enjoy people watching and eating my breakfast. Not too much time out of my day, get a whole lot done afterwards, but feel really happy doing something good for myself.
Make time in your calendar for some time for you! You’ll be happy to make those additions to your schedule!
