Did this predictive list of Christmas gifts ring true for you?

Found on Facebook

Well, I was supposedly going to get a Labrador, but thankfully it didn’t come true. Not because I don’t find them adorable and loving, but because I’m allergic to them. Plus I don’t think I’d enjoy having to go out at 5 am in the rain or snow to take him out to potty!

Instead of a dog, I got to spend time with my daughter and grandkids which is the best gift of all.

I was supposed to come back with my youngest granddaughter to hang out with her, but she got sick, so traveling 3 hours to my place wouldn’t be good, plus she needs her own bed to recuperate well.

I hope you each had a wonderful Christmas and Holiday time,  where you received what your heart needed.

If not, please take time to care and nurture yourself so that you will be refreshed for the new year. Sometimes doing nothing but resting is the most productive thing we can do for ourselves.

We don’t always have the blessings of a gentle and supportive family life, so learning to take care of ourselves becomes even more important. We need to provide what we need for our own peace of mind.

May you get everything you need and the fun you want!

Peace be with you!

  1. Blessings to you also Tamara. I did indeed get the blessings of just being with family in a lovely quiet country setting, swapping yarns and just catching up. Worth every moment. Glad yours went well even if the expected granddaughter visit didn’t go off as planned ❤️🙏

Have a beautiful New Year kind lady, may it be blessed with much love 🤗❤️🙏

    1. Thanks Mark! I’m so glad you got to spend time with the people you care about, that’s worth it all. Yes, the young lady is getting better and being home is the best right now. Happy holiday time to you too!

  2. I guess I got that new car a couple of months early. And instead of being for me, my husband drives it. But having a third vehicle for our family is indeed a gift!

I’m glad you got good family time. I’m sorry for the member who is ill. I’ve been reminding unwell friends to avoid sugar in order to recover faster, but it’s so hard this time of year when sweets abound!

Best wishes for your new year, Tamara!

    1. Ooh, a car! Niiice! That’s a blessing indeed. Yes, the young lady is getting better, and it’s best no doubt that she’s resting at home. Wishing you and yours a wonderful Holiday Season, and your comment about sugar is spot on!
