Sharing a book review by a fellow blogger,  a must read!

I’ve been conversing with Pooja J. Gudka over the past years, in the comments of both of our blogs, and she has written a beautiful book review of “Jade’s Broken Bridge”, written by another fellow blogger (Michele Sefton) who we regularly converse with. I cannot begin to try to do a book review half as good as Pooja’s, so I’m going to give you the link so you can read hers.

A very needed fresh start

We as a culture have long held the belief that “we shouldn’t speak ill of the dead”, but that often doesn’t help the living to process their past traumas. Semi-deifying an abuser after their death only adds to the mental and emotional burdens of the living victims. Instead, we need to be able to speak honestly and factually about the past. This is very cleansing and allows those old shadows to be released.
