Scientifically speaking: The power of speaking kindly to ourselves and to others
The words we say to ourselves are powerful. If we speak harshly and unkindly to ourselves, we bring in anxiety and depression into our minds and hearts, while speaking gently and kindly to ourselves is healing and helps inner peace and happiness to grow.
This video shows the incredible power of words on the formation of ice crystals, and since our bodies are mostly water, words have incredible power on us too! Imagine the effect on our health too!
Women grew up and many men became angry, then lonely; now some men are stepping up to help men move past that.
Men are lonely. Men are angry that so much change has happened, and they feel left behind. They feel that women have rejected them, and in truth, women don’t want transactional relationships, they want a real partner in life.
Thankfully, there are now many more men making videos to help other men learn how to change, how to grow, to become the type of partners women will want to choose.
If you’re open to learning, here are some videos created by men for men.

Gudka over the past years, in the comments of both of our blogs, and she has written a beautiful book review of “Jade’s Broken Bridge”, written by another fellow blogger (Michele Sefton) who we regularly converse with. I cannot begin to try to do a book review half as good as Pooja’s, so I’m going to give you the link so you can read hers.

We as a culture have long held the belief that “we shouldn’t speak ill of the dead”, but that often doesn’t help the living to process their past traumas. Semi-deifying an abuser after their death only adds to the mental and emotional burdens of the living victims. Instead, we need to be able to speak honestly and factually about the past. This is very cleansing and allows those old shadows to be released.

An important lesson I learned after my mother’s last hours
