Some days you eat salads and go to the gym, some days you eat cupcakes and refuse to put on pants. It’s called balance.

“Some days you eat salads and go to the gym, some days you eat cupcakes and refuse to put on pants. It’s called balance.”

We’ll have days where we’re super productive and other days, well, not so much.

I’m someone who likes to keep very busy, working on different projects, generally keeping my hands and mind very busy.

Through the pandemic, I’ve accomplished quite a bit and I’m proud of what I did in the time I was given.

Even though I’m a very productive person, I have days where I just don’t want to be. I don’t feel like it. I just want to be a couch potato… and I give in and do it.

We all need down time and off days.

If our off days start to out-number the days we’re being productive, we may want to look at how we can change that!

It’s all about balancing out our lives right?

  1. I have thought often that my off days out number my productive days – and then I also realize that those off days are much needed healing and growing days that I get so much out of. My definition of productivity is kind of blurred because that 🙂

    1. I’ve come to totally rethink what productivity is to me! I’ve embraced a more fluid schedule and have found that I feel less anxious!

    1. 😉 no worries! I myself try to ease back into exercising by getting some walks in on days when the weather is nicer! I’ll also try to remember to do some stretching! I haven’t had a regular exercise routine for months, but I do my best to eat healthier on most days! 😬😬
