Garlicky toast and raw honey! A very unusual combination to be sure! Not your normal breakfast selection!
As I’m experiencing some mild symptoms of Covid, I’m doing what I can to make sure I add healthy nutrients to my food!
When I was a little girl, my father used to make me garlic toast with butter – we love garlic in my family!
Raw garlic + raw honey is a great immune booster to have in the morning! Add my healthy coffee (pictured) and you’ll get a good start!
How to:
sliced bread – firm style bread such as sourdough, rye or pumpernickel works well
1 garlic clove
butter – I don’t recommend margarine!
honey – I prefer raw honey because of its antibiotic properties
I’m using sourdough bread, but any firm style bread works very well. I’ve used regular sliced bread too, but it tends to tear much more easily.
Toast bread, rub 1 garlic into bread (enjoy the scent of the raw garlic!) – I can usually coax about 1/2 a clove into the bread and save the rest for slicing, butter bread, smear on some honey, slice remainder of clove.
Enjoy! This is a sweet/savory toast; very good for gut health and the immune system! #garlictoastchallenge

I stopped using sugar about 2 years ago and had been using the artificial sweeteners, well just quit those and am only using honey. Great post. I love garlic as well.
